I just can't stop....

...buying gifts! I mean seriously... I love buying gifts for people!

I love spoiling my niece and my mom especially... and I just can't help but find great bargains- which allows me to justify the spending... well at least in my world anyway.

I know people are complaining that there's no snow here... heck I was one of them a few blogs ago, but seriously, with only a week to go, it's time to get over that. Christmas is here, the time has come, spread the joy people!

A few Christmas thoughts from me to you (and to me):

  • Don't get wrapped up in the commercialism (pardon the pun),
  • Enjoy the commercials (particularly the ones with those Bell beavers)...
  • Love
  • Responsibly enjoy the Christmas drinks (particularly if you're driving) particularly a lovely cranberry juice with Amaretto... DELISH!
  • When you're wrapping presents, do so with a smile. the person who's receiving it will feel it while they unwrap it!
  • Laugh
  • Don't sweat the small stuff!
  • Make time to exercise- go for walks, get out and sweat- the happy endorphins will help relieve your stress
  • Share
  • Remember what makes you smile and think of it often.
  • Enjoy
  • Buy yourself something. Wrap it up, slap a bow on it, put a tag on it and say Santa got it for you.
  • Be merry
  • Surround yourself with friends and family whom you love, and whom you know love you.
  • Drive safely
  • Eat more than one dessert
  • Get dressed up
  • Watch all Christmas movies that are on tv... and remember when you thought they were the greatest things! I swear, I thought the Grinch was much longer when I was a kid I mean really it seemed so long, turns out it's only 30 minute or so
  • Take naps
  • Sleep in
  • When you answer the phone over the holidays... answer it by saying, "Hello and Happy Holidays!"- and don't forget to smile while you say it, the person on the receiving end can hear the smile in your voice.

And once Christmas is over, once all the presents have been unwrapped, all the Christmas crackers popped, all the eggnog has been drunk and the fruit cake has been passed on to another unsuspecting soul, don't be sad. Just think- my birthday is only 2 days away ;)
