What if men talked more
and women didn't over analyse what they said, when they said it or how they said it

What if we all listened a little more
and people said what they mean and mean what they say

What if I was happier this summer

What if I was happier when I was with him

What if he was happy when he was with me

What if it didn't still hurt as much as it does

What if he didn't affect me like he still can

What if he wasn't leaving

What if we were still together
