Oh hogwash- it is not! There is no snow on the ground, and i can barely see my breath when I walk out the door- I swear, part of being Canadian is having the right to complain about the weather YEAR-round... ok that's not quite true, I rarely complain about the weather when it's sunny and perfect out... which is about 0.7% of the time. Back to the complaining. It's mid-december, Christimas is 12 days away, and there is no snow in the Nation's Capital and we are nearing double didgit temperatures (in celcius not ferenheit for my american friends reading this). Not too bad for me to go running in mind-you, so see I shouldn't complain TOO much.
But really. The Christmas season is upon us despite what Mother nature is telling us. This past weekend, my siblings and I surprised my mom by going home for a pre-christmas Christmas, since my little alberta-living brother can't make the trek to Kingsville for December 25th, we all had a fantabulous turkey dinner and exchanged some of our gifts and it was just splendid.
So with only a couple of gifts left on the list, when I do finish my Christmas shopping, does that mean i can focus my attention on shopping for me? (ok I'm half joking here)
