i feel old...

today was well a "geesh I'm getting old" day.

why? well I started my day by going to my physio appointment for my aching back and weak ankle and then this afternoon I had the optometrist apointment (havne't been in 3 years) and sure enough, as I suspected... I needed glasses. Well to give some context to that, I have glasses- reading glasses that i got at the last appointment (three years ago) and now I need glasses for distance. My once perfect vision has degenerated at the ripe ole' age of 27. No wonder i've been getting lost when driving lately, I couldn't see the street signs!!! no seriously, i've been missing my turns alot lately... I'm queen of the U-turns now! But holy crap do they ever make all the difference! I obviously used them to drive home from the optometrist and I made it home without getting lost! WOOHOO!

My mean coworker whose name is not Steve, was very mean when i said I needed glasses for distance... in addition to my reading glasses. his comment: Oh you need bi-focals! ok really... we don't need to be so mean do we????????????

and yes of course, new glasses=new fashion accessory!
