It's really here now! There's a humidex!

Frizzy hair. Profusely sweating in the shade. Never leaving home without sunglasses and a water bottle. Oh yes. Summer is here. In full swing. Including a humidex of 29 today in our nation's capital, and the subsequent threat of thunderstorms followed by slightly cooler temperatures. Of course this now means there's a threat of the first softball game of the season being cancelled and the subsequent fleury of emails asking when we should cancel the games by what time. I'm going to count them. 18. 18 emails asking when we're going to call the games due to rain. It wasn't even noon yet. It's still sunny now and 3pm. And people wonder why being the captain of the team makes me crazy.

Halifax was a blast... Long live the Lower Deck, and the Alexander Keith's brewery. Oh yeah and work was very productive too. All in all a great trip.
