Alright I'll start with one thing I've been meaning to post about for a few weeks now. Square One shopping centre. The thought of it gives me shivers- and I'm not talking the good kind here folks... It's so big I just don't know where to go. EVER. Again here, I'm not talking about my love of shopping and that I don't know where to start, I mean, once I set foot in there, I lose every sense of direction, I walk through those doors, and then 45-60 minutes later I. HAVE. NO. IDEA. HOW. TO. GET. OUT. And the directories don't help. I continue to go down the wrong aisle ways. Why can't the "you are here" sticker be more interactive and actually give me step by step directions. Maybe they should add that as a feature online... oooohh I'm, liking this idea- you know kinda like the google-map edition, a mapquest if you will... I WISH!
That being said, the one and only time that I didn't get lost, was last night (lunch was a different story). I knew where I was going- the hair place closest to the entrance/exit I most frequent. I was too embarrassed to tell my hairdresser how I chose the place when she asked (uh cuz it's the only one of 6 in the mall that I can get to with relative ease). So yeah. It was my hairdresser's birthday (and she had dinner plans - which means she didn't really care about me and my hair- as if!), and she had a cold (so help me if she gets me sick), and well I don't know. She didn't exactly style it the way i like and i don't think she cut off quite as much a I wanted her too. Oh I miss Chantal- my beloved hairdresser from Ottawa. And FYI mom (as if she reads this) guess what, Mississauga's even MORE expensive than Ottawa. Anyhoo- she did them a different way then I'm used to and I decided to go a little on the red side, which ended up being more on the red side than I intended. and the cut- right well I haven't done my hair yet this morning, so once I go back to styling my hair the usual way, cuz I don't think i can keep the style she did cuz I don't have a straightner (I know be still my heartI don't have one- ahem that would have been could be a good christmas OR birthday present...)
ok gotta get to work. TGIF!
edited to add- now that hair is done- it's AWESOME! love love love it. it could probably be a little shorter, but that's ok...it'll do for now! and the bangs are great- I was worried they would be too short, but i love them... oh yeah i forgot to mention that part before didn't I. Pictures next week, as I'll post some from nao'r's chirstmas party in K-town.
