Sunshine, Patios, Runners oh my!

It's here folks... the best season of all- PATIO SEASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although we had that terrible nor'easter this weekend, it's here. It's really here. And I don't care if you all think I'm jynxing us by proclaiming it loudly (and by loudly I mean in Captial letters). PATIO season has arrived. In Ottawa, it's quite the busieness. Patio building that is. We loose 4 feet of the sidwalk, because every single restaurant, café or pub must have at least two tables outside or it risks closing down forever. (I've decided not to take this opportunity to complain about the smokers invading the patio spaces, because frankly, I don't want to think negatively right now about the patio season.) It's here. In all it's glory.

To celebrate, I even just bought a super cute patio mat to put on my super-tiny balcony. Needless to say it's green (not super-green, just green hehe). But you better believe, when I get home tonight, I'm cleaning off the balcony (safe for my bike) and tying that puppy down so that I can then perhaps finally buy the cute patio set I've been eyeing so that I can start enjoying summer evenings drinking reading on my balcony overlooking the city. It really is a lovely view.

I am now super excited for Softball and Dragon boat season to officially start, both only a few weeks away now. We've already booked rooms for our trip to MTL for our DB training camp.
